Ikap Cetus, Hymnic 7

A separation is an inversion of oneness.
Clearly it is not a oneness;
A separation is a second order of oneness in concept.

A pod is a third order oneness in concept.
Clearly, it is not a oneness;
A pod is only the association of separations.

The association has a start.
The association has an end.

A pod is a third order oneness in concept.
When members change, the pod changes,
Yet that pod may still be identified as being the same pod.

Thus the pod paradox:
A pod is identified by its members,
but a pod can admit new members
and members can leave a pod.

There is no resolution to a paradox.
A pod is not a oneness.
A pod is a third order oneness in concept.

With action came choice.

One separation could choose to act or not act.
One separation could choose to act this way or that.
One separation could choose to interact with this identity or that.

With preference,
Some separations more often interacted with some identities than others.

Eventually,
Some separations interacted with some separations to the exclusion of others.

Thus,
There was the establishment of the very first instances of pods.

The one oneness was everything.
Nothing was greater than the one oneness.
Nothing was less than the one oneness.

The one oneness became many.
Each separation was like the one oneness, except separate.
No separation was greater than any other separation.
No separation was lesser than any other separation.
Nothing distinguished separation from separation.
Each separation was as if any other separation.

A separation could act in any way.
And how one separation chose to act
Could differ
From how any other separation chose to act.

From a pattern of actions, a separation established an identity.
A separation could assume identity at choice.
A separation could change identity at choice.

With interaction, attention was on how one separation acted.
It could act the same as another separation.
It could approximately act the same.
It could almost act the same.

Attention was on the perceived identity.

Attention was on how an identity was perceived.

With the creation of time,
A separation could sing the song sung by another separation
At a later point in time.

With the creation of time,
A separation could sing the song sung by another separation
At an earlier point in time.

It could imitate in unison.
It could imitate at some point in time after or before.

It could interact with another identity.
It could interact with many identities.

Interactions could be the same.
Interactions could be different.

With similar interactions, came expectation.
With diverging interactions, came surprise.

With time, there was a reference of past interactions.
With time, there was the expectation for future interactions.

With interaction, expectation and surprise,
There was agreement;
There was disagreement;
There was preference.

With agreement, disagreement and preference there was desire.

Songs were sung,
However, songs had no length and no duration.
They each were a concept,
And each delivery from one identity to another was a concept.

Songs were shared,
However, songs were simply delivered and received,
And then delivered back and received.

Songs were always distinct, individual and separate.

With the development of Appreciation and Admiration,
Songs developed.

With the development of songs,
Appreciation and Admiration varied even more.

And eventually,
To further extend the concept of song,
a new idea was conceived.

With a new idea, came a new action.

That action was the creation of the song within time.

This required the creation of time.

Time allowed a song to persist, to last, to have duration.

Time allowed a song to be repeated.

Time allowed a song to be sung by one singer or many.

And thus came about interaction.

And time was a measurement of interaction.

And interaction was a result of time.

And with interaction there was performance.
And with interaction there was greater variety.
And with interaction there was expectation.
And with expectation there came about surprise.

And with interaction, expectation and surprise came about agreement and disagreement.

Separations made choices of expression.

As identities, they made choices regarding expression of song.
As identifies, they made choices regarding expression of Appreciation and Admiration.

Songs became more diverse.

Appreciation and Admiration became more diverse.
Appreciation and Admiration gained in value.

With infinite variations of Appreciation and Admiration
There was perception of esteem;
There was perception of fondness;
There was perception of acclaim;
There was perception of respect.

And when respect was not perceived to be in full fullness,
There was a perception of disrespect.

Thus came the illusions of disrespect, disgust, disapproval, disregard.

And with the varying nature of regard
There was the approximation of the first emotions: interest and boredom; ardence*  and apathy.
Separations made choices of which identities to share songs with;
Appreciation and Admiration gained further in perceived value.

This created Associations.
This created Attraction.
This created Avoidance.
This created Alliances and Allegiances.

This created approximations of Fondness, Passion and Jealousy.

However, these were approximations.

There was no pleasure, no pain, no persistence.

*(Ed Note: ardence = ardent interest)
